As there’s a Wiggle ride in the forest this
weekend the club ride will take us out of their way and we’ll head north towards
the Chalke Valley.
Meet at the main car park in Brookley Road, Brockenhurst
as usual at 0850 for an 0900 depart.
Out via Rhinefield, Bolderwood, Moyles
Court, Harbridge, Alderholt, Sandleheath, Rockbourne and then along the Chalke
Valley to Broad Chalke where we’ll probably have a mid ride stop at the excellent
community shop there at around 50K.
Then back via some hew (to us) roads via
East Martin, Damerham and then familiar ride back via Sandleheath, Fordingbridge,
Stuckton, Frogham, Ogdens, Red Shoot, Bolderwood, Brock.
Total ride 100K so should be about 3 ½ hours
of riding time so with coffee stop should be back in Brock for 1300.
