This weeks club ride will head up north for
a trip to Stockbridge and back.
Meet at 0850 for 0900 depart from the main
car park in Brookley Road, Brockenhurst.
Route will head north via Rhinefield Road,
Bolderwood, Ocknells Plain, Fritham, Bramble Hill, West Wellow, Shootash, Kents
Oak, Dunbridge, Mottisfont, Houghton and Stockbridge for possible coffee stop
at The Woodfire at around 30 miles.
Return up the short hill on the A30 then
back on the small roads via Broughton, East Tytherley, Lockerley, Sherfield
English and back into the forest at Nomansland. Then familiar ride back to
Brock via Ocknells Plan, Bolderwood and if we need a post ride coffee stop then
suggest the new Rosie Lea’s tea room at Setley Ridge, same cakes as the shop in
Brookley Road but more room for bikes.
Should be just over 100K, aiming for
27-29KMH average depending on who’s out. So should be back in Brock just after
1300 depending on stop in Stockbridge.
